Fortunately, more and more people are signing up as a stem cell donor. Registering stem cell donors is only possible thanks to monetary donations. It would not be impossible to do our work without financial support.
In order to register more donors, we need more money. Registering a new donor costs Matchis €35.
Partially we receive our income through subsidies, but financial support is still very much needed. You can contribute to this by making a donation or by supporting us through a sponsor action, for example.
How can you financially support stem cell donation in the Netherlands?
The easiest way to support Matchis is by giving a one-off donation. No matter how small or large the amount of the donation is, you can be certain that each Euro will help towards saving a life.
You can make a donation by transferring your donation to the fundraising ABN AMRO Bank account of Matchis Foundation: NL96 ABNA 0454 0552 50 Stichting Matchis, Leiden.
You can also make your donation by going to our donation page. Choose 'Eenmalig' to give a one-off donation.
You can also become a part of the Friends of Matchis Foundation. Whether you contribute a small amount every week or you provide a large donation once a year, as a loyal supporter you make it possible for us to be able to register more donors in the donor database. You can make your donation by going to our donation page. Choose 'Maandelijks' to give a montly donation.
Your donation is fully deductible from your income tax if you donate for a minimum of 5 years. You’ll find the details of the regulations for donations on the Income Tax Service’s website (www.belastingdienst.nl).
Even after your death you can make a difference to Matchis by including us as a beneficiary in your will. You can arrange this directly with a notary. For more information about this, please contact us at contact@matchis.nl
Matchis is also helped enormously by companies that agree to sponsor our work. This could be a monetary donation or in kind. We are always happy to think along and decide what would be the best way for your company to help; the best way for you to benefit from it. It could be something to promote your company or something displaying the company’s logo.
